Only 1 special from 3 but an amazing day where we only missed the winner in 3 races from 39 in our top 5 selections. Trifectas at 44% were great but with the small fields dividends were not the greatest but strike rate was very pleasing.

Not a great day for specials but a good day eberywhere else. Our best eachway nearly saved us being beaten a short head at great odds.

She is warming up now with only a fortnight to the Melbourne Cup and todays Cox Plate you would have to say is not as strong as in recent years which really opens up the field behind the favourite in Fawkner. We are sticking with the same form line we took in the Caulfiled Cup which sees no 1 Sacred Falls as our selection. The speed expected from The Cleaner should suit the horse and allow him to rattle home. If he can repeat his 11.44 seconds for his last 200 in the Caulfield stakes he has to be right in the mix on the line.

We had a bumper day finding 14 winners as our top raters including the Caulfield Cup Winner @ $13 on fixed.

Specials were good with 2 winners and 2 seconds saluting the judge. Incredibly we found the winner in our first five slections at a 93% strike rate. Keep following us as we are in hot form.

Brilliant days racing and a tough Caulfield Cup but we are going Japanese with Admire Rakti based on his brilliant performance in the Japan Cup beaten 1.15L with 57kg. Thats enough to sway us away from Lucia Valentina and the fact it is a hard track. Zac Purton will give the horse every chance and with a little luck in running can win and reinforce the quality of the Japanese stayers.
