OUR NEWS31 May 2013
We reported on 17th May that David Balfour, a prominent SA Trainer had been admitted to hospital in SA with quite a serious condition. We are happy to advise that "Balf" is recovering well and on the mend although very unhappy about being confined to his hospital bed. The main thing is he has turned the corner and is on the road to recovery and we wish him all the best. 30 May 2013
Magic day for us with the best result we have had. Two of our three specials came in but more importantly we had 15 big winners from 39 races at a strike rate of 38%. An excellent day overall. Best track was Doomben with 5 winners from 8 races. Hope you had a great day 30 May 2013
A good days racing for a midweek meeting. Best for us are SR3/3 La Pieta, MR 8/1 Batman, and PR1/2 Flirt with Me. Time for our specials to make an impact and land an all up. Good Luck 28 May 2013
A one off meeting at Gosford that may find a value runner or 2. Some interesting maidens stepping out and a couple of tricky races. 26 May 2013
Good fightback on a tough day with 4 big winners from Belmont. See results page for todays winners. Specials were dissapointing but 9 winners saved the day. 26 May 2013
Fantastic days racing despite the Heavy track conditions in Sydney's Royal Randwick. Brisbane has turned on the weather and the big fields in both states will make for interesting racing and plenty of value winners around. Our best bets for the day start at Randwick NSW with the 2yo open Race 1/2 Everage looks outstanding. To Randwick race 6 no 5 She's Clean. To Caulfield race 4 no 6 Ava's Delight (21 TO 6'S) and Caulfield race 7 no 1 Serene Star look the best at this meeting. In Morphetville we think race 6/1 Road Warrior is the one for the ailing trainer David Balfour and are expecing a much improved run from this horse. In Perth race 7 no 2 McBlitzam backing up after his big run at odds last week looks the best each way value here. Best roughie for the girls is SR 8/19 Namsurai which has been very good to us this preperation. In the Doomden 10,000 today all the rage will be for BR8/10 Epaulette but I have a feeling that no 15 Better than Ready is ready and could be the blow out horse at odds from a nice barrier and track conditions to suit. 23 May 2013
Big day with 14 winners overall , hope you managed to find some of them 23 May 2013
Interesting day ahead with big fields and plenty of races for a midweek meeting. Sandown on a heavy 9 will test the tipsters today and 11 races for the card. Interesting start to Sandown with 2 hurdles and a steeple and the three top raters look outstanding but will be short. All up you will get 5/2 if you are interested, for mine there are too many risks although I expect all three to win. Best bets today are SR3/3 Lucrepitus-MR 8/4 Reperations and AR 5/4 Con Now 20 May 2013
Nice day on the punt with 13 big winners on what most pundits considered a difficult day. Our specials proved that but we fought back well to finish in front.
19 May 2013

Leading South Australian horse trainer and former jockey David Balfour has been placed in an induced coma in a South Australin Hosptal due to breathing issues. His son Ryan reported it is expected Balfour will be gradually bought out of his coma overnight. His training operations will be taken over by son Ryan as he recovers. Balfour a leading trainer in SA for many years rode with success in SA and Western Australia and has been a prominent trainer for many years. We wish him well for a speedy recovery. 16 May 2013

Had some pretty rough days but this was by far the worst. Please find below our recent results table.Fortunately the trifectas paid OK and our best of the day did win. Rather than suspend last weeks ratings we continued with our usual processes and things were fine until Telstra decided to drop thier wireless network as the scratchings came to hand on Saturday morning. This meant we could not complete our 10 minutes of final anakysis and review hence the messy start to the morning. Hopefully you survived and didnt do too much damage.
08 May 2013
Only Sandown and Canterbury worth rating Our best are SR2/2 Escoffier ans SR3/2 Flying Sebring In Melbourne 1/1 Samarmeteors and MR4/5 Maurizio Good luck 07 May 2013
Just to let you know we are only rating Canterbury and Sandown Hillside this week and ratings will be available tomorrow Tuesday morning. You will need to do your own scratchings this week on Wednesday morning. The other three meetings at Pinjarra, Strathalbyn and the Sunshine Coast look very limited. Bet at your own risk 05 May 2013
Managed to find 9 winners on a tough day with plenty of rough results around the nation. Ordinary on the specials with only 1 saluting the judge. Hope you finished in front.
05 May 2013
A couple of trick tracks to encounter today. First meeting for Belmont Park for the year always throws up some rough results. SR1/6 Chiascouro MR4/5 Whisper Downs BR7/1 Hot Snitzel Best Each Way is PR5/5 Bridies Boy @ $81 and BR9/7 Rocky King @ $31
